Tohoku Center for Teaching and Learning was established through the developmental integration of four organizations (Center for Institutional Research, Center for Professional Development, Center for Learning Support, and Section of Natural Science) under the Institute for Excellence in Higher Education. In addition to taking over the functions of each organization, the TCTL actively supports and conducts practical research to improve education at Tohoku University.
